Steelton-Highspire made its 20th championship game appearance November 7 in the PIAA District III Class 2A football title contest.
More impressive is that with the 52-13 victory past Halifax, Steel-High has won 18 of those District III championship games.
It is the sixth straight District III championship for the Rollers, who won four Class 1A titles from 2020-2023 and the last two 2A.
A quick start led to the 2025 title as Steel-High rolled out to a 24-0 lead, which grew to 38-7 at the half, and kept the momentum going, in a second win past the Wildcats this season.
Halifax, the 2018 1A champs, was stopped shy of a second district crown.
