A week after winning the PIAA District III Class 3A boys cross country championship, Cedar Crest's Travis Furmanski proved his best was still out there.
So a week later, he went out and won a state title..
Furmanski, a senior, blazed the course at Hershey in 15:34.5 to capture the PIAA Class 3A boys cross country championship.He finished five seconds ahead of Nicholas Mazzeo of Lower Merion and 11 ticks in from of Theo Oppermann (State College) and Carter Smith (Mifflin County).
