East Pennsboro scored twice in the opening inning of the PIAA District III Class 4A baseball championship game against Boiling Springs on Memorial Day at Penn Medicine Stadium.

It would go on to be the only run EP would get – and all it would need too en route to a fourth straight District III 4A championship.

Unbeaten going in, the Panthers pitching and defense led the way as Boiling Springs managed just one fourth-inning run as East Pennsboro won 2-1.

It was the sixth overall district baseball championship for East Penn (22-0), while Boiling Springs made its first appearance in a title game.
